Announcements

  • The Pastor, Principal/Admin Team, School Board, School Leadership Team, and Faculty are very dedicated to continuously improving our school. We would really appreciate your feedback on the St. Louis Catholic School experience. Please take a moment to complete our annual survey for the school found at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTCBNwLZNs26cWIp1qXmAYTJbYSwawjtTFx6b-qaL3tM4AxQ/viewform?usp=header. It only has 10 questions and should not take too much time, but will provide us with the information we need to celebrate our successes and work on areas that need improvement.
  • Please remember to pick up any medication that is in the school office before the end of the school year. Anything not picked up will be discarded. All medication must be picked up by the parents. We will not send medication home with students.
  • Cleaning out closets? Please consider donating your used uniforms back to the school for the annual used uniform sale at Back-to School events in August. Feel free to drop off your CLEAN uniforms to Paul Walker in the school office before the end of the year.
  • We’re sending our heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes to Ms. Leiza Collins, who will be leaving St. Louis Catholic School at the end of this school year to be closer to her grandchild in Georgia. As we celebrate her contributions, we are also beginning the search for our next Music Teacher — someone who will carry on her legacy of joy-filled, faith-centered musical education. We’re looking for a passionate and energetic educator to lead engaging music classes for K-8 grades, accompany school Masses, and direct student performances throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A certified music teacher with a bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in keyboard/piano
  • Excited to share the beauty of music in both the classroom and liturgical settings
  • Orff Schulwerk experience is a plus!

To read the full job description or apply, visit https://cdom.org/job/music-teacher-grades-k-8/ or contact us at teddi@stlouismemphis.org. Please help us spread the word!

  • Support our 2025-26 Cheerleaders by visiting the Field Day concession stand! Please see the menu in the Wednesday Wire.
  • Come out and enjoy Catholic Night at AutoZone Park as the Memphis Redbirds take on the Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday, June 3 at 7:05 PM. Gates open at 6:00 PM. Once you purchase your tickets, you will get an email with directions on how to access your tickets online. Each ticket will come with a hot dog and soda that can be redeemed at the white tent in right field down the first base line. Visit https://www.gofevo.com/event/Catholicdiocese5 to purchase tickets.
  • Calvary Episcopal Church has graciously agreed to host our rescheduled Organ at the Movies concert featuring their newly-restored Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ on Friday, May 16, 6:30 PM. Scott Elsholz, will perform a program featuring some of the most beloved themes from movie soundtracks, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Interstellar, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, Titanic, and even a Frozen sing-a-long with the St. Louis School Children’s Choir!  Watch as scenes of each movie are projected on a large screen in the front of the church and join us for a movie concession reception following.  The program is free, and all ages (and movie costumes) are welcome!
