Announcements
- We are grateful for the many parents and grandparents who generously give their time to serve our school community. Anyone wishing to volunteer in any capacity at St. Louis School (library, dining hall, coaching, field trip driving, etc.) must have current VIRTUS training and a signed Code of Conduct on the VIRTUS website. Step-by-step instructions for completing both requirements can be found in today’s Wednesday Wire. Thank you for helping us keep our school a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- May Procession is TOMORROW, Thursday, May 7 at 8:30 AM in the old gym. Parents are invited to attend this special event. Students in JK-7th grade should bring a flower to place at Mary's statue. Kindergarten through seventh graders should wear Sunday dress clothes tomorrow.
- For this year’s 1-4 Grade Field Day, Ms. Byrnes is hoping that each homeroom has its own Field Day Tent. We are still looking for tents for 3A (Williams) and 4A (Rutledge). Please click here if you can sign up to bring your tent on Friday, May 8, for your child’s homeroom.
- OrthoSouth is offering sports physicals for $20.00 next Wednesday, May 13 from 6:00-8:00 PM. See the Wednesday Wire below for registration information.
- Mrs. Shannon McCrary is offering one-on-one summer tutoring for Reading and Math for rising Kindergarten through third graders to ensure a successful transition into the next grade. The focus of these tutoring sessions will be strengthening skills sets needed for the upcoming grade. She can also assist with summer reading selections and summer math assignments set up by your upcoming teachers. See Wednesday Wire for more information or contact her at smccrary@stlouismemphis.org.
- Please remember to pick up any medication that is in the school office before the end of the school year. Anything not picked up will be discarded. All medication must be picked up by the parents. We will not send medication home with students.
- Cleaning out closets? Please consider donating your used uniforms to the school for the annual used uniform sale at Back-to School events in August. You can drop off your CLEAN uniform donations to Paul Walker in the school office before the end of the year.
- Come out and enjoy Catholic Night at the Redbirds as the Memphis Redbirds take on the Nashville Sounds on Friday, June 19 at 7:05 PM. Gates open at 6:05 PM. Each ticket will come with a hot dog and soda. Visit https://www.gofevo.com/event/Catholicdiocese848 to purchase tickets.
