Announcements
  • “Thanks” just isn’t enough to convey our gratitude to our Home and School Association for the amazing auction and dinner that they held this past week. SLS Under the Palms was one of the most successful auctions in the history of our school! This event happened only because of the incredible leadership of our Auction Chair, Liz Mills, our Home and School President, Kyle Denney, our Vice President, Cathy Childs. There are so many more ladies to name that were integral in the success of this event! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  •  At dismissal, there are only two options for pick-up:
    • Carpool Line: You may drive through our carpool line, and we will place your child in your car.
    • Park and Pick-Up: You may park your car and meet your child at the designated Park and Pick-Up location on the Dining Hall steps.

For safety reasons, please do not walk up to the carpool/breezeway area or wait outside the school/church doors to pick up your child. Only teachers should be in the carpool and breezeway areas to ensure a controlled and secure dismissal process.

  • Our school Talent Show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 10 at 6:00 PM in the old gym. Please make plans to join us to see the incredible talents of our students!
  • Our Social Studies Bee has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 11.
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM in the teacher’s classroom. The sign-ups for conferences will be sent tomorrow. Teachers will contact you if they feel that a conference is necessary.
  • Lego Club is starting TODAY, Wednesday, February 4 from 3:05-4:05 PM. Grades 1-5 will come to the library after school is dismissed. Kindergarten students will be escorted to the library. If you are picking up your child at the end of the class, you will need to pickup at the breezeway. A parent signature is required for pickup. If your child goes to aftercare, he/she will be dismissed to the appropriate area. See the Wednesday Wire for registration info.

  • The Debate Club is moving its planning day to the first Thursday of the month and debates to the third Thursday of the month due to many conflicts for our regular debaters on Wednesday. See the Wednesday Wire for dates.
  • Due to the inclement weather, Diocesan leadership and the Memphis Grizzlies have made the decision to postpone our Catholic Night with the Grizzlies. We are excited to announce that we have officially reset Catholic night with the Grizzlies for Wednesday March 4that 7:00 PM. On this special night we will still have all our fan experiences and giveaways aligned with what was already expected. You will still see your tickets for tonight’s game and those tickets are still valid should you choose to attend tonight. Within the next one to two weeks, you will receive communication from the Grizzlies once your Wednesday, March 4th tickets have been added to your account. No action is required from you.
