Our annual Cardinal Christmas Students vs. Faculty basketball game is this Friday, December 5. Admission to the game for students is a new unwrapped toy for Catholic Charities of West Tennessee.

Next week, all Lost and Found items from the first semester will be on tables in the school hallway outside of the dining hall. Come find that missing fleece, shoe, water bottle, backpack, homework, etc. All items remaining after Friday, December 19 will be donated or discarded.

The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a service of Scripture and song which recounts the birth of Jesus, the fall of humanity, and the promise of a Messiah in short Bible readings from Genesis through the prophets and the Gospels, interspersed with choral music and the singing of Christmas carols. Come and hear our beautiful children’s choir on Saturday, December 13 at 6:00 PM as part of this special event.

Our Home and School Auction, “SLS Under the Palms” is right around the corner! Mark your calendars for January 31, 2026. Tickets are now available! After an extraordinary 32 years of leading our Aftercare program and Extended Care summer camp, Lori Tucker is retiring! We are profoundly grateful for her passion, her steady presence, and her unwavering dedication to the students and families of St. Louis for more than three decades. As we celebrate her remarkable service, we now begin the important work of finding her successor. Please see the Wednesday Wire for the job description and application details.

Louis Parish is raising funds through the iGiveCatholic Campaign to enhance the safety and security of our campus. Currently, the area from our Kindergarten building to the football field is enclosed only by a chain-link fence. Our goal is to replace it with fencing that matches the high-quality exterior fencing surrounding the rest of our property. This improvement will include a decorative, secure entrance accessible only to authorized personnel. Together, these upgrades will provide a much-needed enhancement to protect our students while they are on the playground and ball fields, as well as our parishioners and visitors throughout the week. The due date for half of all total service hours for 5-8 grade students is THIS Friday, December 5.

It’s a Talent Show year! All first through eighth graders are invited to submit video auditions by December 14. Please see the Wednesday Wire for more details. The Talent Show will be held on January 27, 2026.
