This Friday, December 19 is an out of uniform day. There is no cost to participate in this day. Students are asked to wear red and green Christmas attire. Keep in mind that we will be attending Mass. No headwear and no flashing lights please.

This Friday, December 19 is a half day dismissal at 11:30 AM for the whole school.

Thank you for ensuring your students are following the shoe dress code.
- All students in grades 1-8 are permitted to wear solid white, solid gray, or solid black tennis shoes.
- Girls in grades 1-8 are permitted to wear Saddle Oxfords or Saddle tennis shoes.
- Boys in grades 1-8 are permitted to wear tan, brown, or black dress shoes.
- Please note that Kindergarteners will follow this shoe guide beginning with the 2026-27 school year.

Thank you for making sure that we start the second semester with new haircuts for boys and proper uniforms for all students! We appreciate your help in making sure we set up our students for success in all ways.

This year, we’re adding a fun, friendly school competition between schools to see who can bring the most students and families. The winning school will earn a special morning visit from the Grizzlies Claw Crew on the day of the game—complete with swag, T-shirts, bags, and plenty of energy to hype the kids up!

When families purchase tickets, they’ll be able to select which school or parish they’re affiliated with so credit goes toward the competition so don't forget to indicate you are with St. Louis School and/or Parish to receive special savings on your seats.

Reminders

LAST CALL! All Lost and Found items from the first semester are on tables in the school hallway outside of the dining hall. Come find that missing fleece, shoe, water bottle, backpack, homework, etc. All items remaining after THIS Friday, December 19 will be donated, discarded, or dumped in Jeff Harris’s front yard.

Auditions for Matilda, JR.,our 5-8 grade Spring Musical, will be held on Wednesday, January 7 from 3:00-6:00 pm in the music room. See the Wednesday Wire to sign up for an audition spot.

The annual Men’s Club Mardi Gras Dinner and Parade is coming soon! This year’s event will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Don’t miss this popular St. Louis event! Every grade is encouraged to enter a float in the parade. To enter a float, contact Greg Crone at croneg@bellsouth.net. See the Wednesday Wire to see the top three class prizes! After an extraordinary 32 years of leading our Aftercare program and Extended Care summer camp, Lori Tucker is retiring! We are profoundly grateful for her passion, her steady presence, and her unwavering dedication to the students and families of St. Louis for more than three decades. As we celebrate her remarkable service, we now begin the important work of finding her successor. Please see the Wednesday Wire for the job description and application details.
