Parents,

In observance of the Feast of St. Louis and Labor Day, our school will be closed from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2. We hope you enjoy this time with your family and find rest and renewal and return refreshed for the upcoming school activities. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership in the education and spiritual formation of your children. May you have a blessed and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.

Carpool Notes:

- K-4 grades, please do not get in carpool line until 2:45 (2:15 on Tuesdays) if you do not have an ECC student.
- 5-8 grades, please do not get in carpool line until 3:10 (2:40 on Tuesdays) if you do not have an ECC student. 5-8 grade students need the extra time to go to their locker before coming to carpool.

From your feedback, we have updated our out-of-uniform shorts policy. Students are now permitted to wear their PE shorts or boys uniform shorts on out of uniform days during the summer uniform wearing period. No other shorts are permitted. Jeans and khakis are always approved on out-of-uniform days.

The only acceptable PE shorts that can be worn on PE days are the uniform shorts that have been supplied by Lands’ End or Dennis Uniforms. No other shorts should be worn on PE days. PE shorts are in stock with Lands’ end. Thank you for following this school policy.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 28, is our Student Council sponsored 901 Day. To participate, students should give a donation of at least $1.00 to their homeroom teacher to benefit Student Council. Students are encouraged to wear their best 901 themed shirt.

Siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority enrollment at Louis School. Please do not assume that we automatically know that you have a child who is a sibling of a current student who should be on one of our waiting lists for the 2026-27 school year. To ensure your child, who is a sibling of a current student, is on our waiting list for the 2026-27 school year, please complete the application for enrollment found at https://stlouismemphis.org/admissions/#form.

Stars 901 Lacrosse Club invites SLS girls in grades 3–8 to a free Intro to Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, September 13 from 3–4 PM at St. Agnes. No experience or equipment needed—registration required.
