Siblings of Current Students – 2027–28 Applications Siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority consideration for enrollment at St. Louis School. If you have a child who is a sibling of a current St. Louis student and would like them to be considered for enrollment for the 2027–28 school year, please complete a new application for enrollment. Even if you previously applied for this child through our former admissions system, you must complete a new application through FACTS. Because St. Louis School has transitioned to FACTS as our new Student Information System, applications submitted through our previous system will not automatically transfer to our 2027–28 applicant list. Completing the FACTS application will ensure that we have your child on our list of sibling applicants and that they receive the appropriate sibling priority for the 2027–28 school year.

Park and Pick-Up Safety Reminder If you are using Park and Pick-Up, faculty members are now leaving the parking spaces in the middle aisle toward the Dining Hall open for parent use.

Most importantly: Please DO NOT cross between cars at any time during carpool. This is extremely dangerous and creates a serious safety risk for both children and adults. All families MUST use the designated crosswalk, where a staff member is stationed to help everyone cross safely. Please do not take shortcuts through the carpool line even if traffic appears stopped.

If a grandparent, babysitter, family member, or anyone else picks up your child, please make sure they know and follow these procedures as well.

Our Home and School is sponsoring the first Faculty Fun Friday of the year this Friday, August 28. The Monekeygrass Mayhem Coffee Truck will be here during morning carpool. Parents are welcome to order, but please let teachers order first.

Join Home and School for the Back-to-School movie night featuring Night at the Museum this Friday, August 28! Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets and join us for some St. Louis family fun. Groovy Italian Ice will also be onsite. The event begins at 7:00 PM. Tuesday, September 1 (9.01), is our Student Council sponsored 901 Day. To participate, students should give a donation of at least $1.00 to their homeroom teacher to benefit the Student Council. Students are encouraged to wear their best 901 themed shirt. The only shorts permitted on this day are the SLS PE uniform shorts and the boys’ navy uniform shorts. Students who choose not to participate are expected to be in full school uniform.

If your 5-8 grader completed service hours this summer (May 23-August 27, 2026), please make sure he/she logs them in to x2Vol by TOMORROW, August 27, 2026.

Our Cub Scout Pack 341 Ice Cream Social is THIS Sunday, August 30 for Kindergarten through fifth grade boys (and their parents) who are interested in joining this year. See Wednesday Wire for more details.

Please mark your calendars! MAP Growth testing will take place September 14–18. These assessments provide our teachers with valuable information about each student’s academic growth and help us identify areas of strength and opportunities for continued learning.

To help your child do their best, we ask families to:

Avoid scheduling doctor, dentist, or other appointments during the mornings that week whenever possible.
Make attendance a priority so students do not have to complete make-up testing.
Arrive at school on time each day. A calm, unrushed start makes a difference!
Prioritize a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast so students are rested and ready to focus.
