- On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The eclipse will pass through central Arkansas and envelope Memphis in about 95% darkness in the process. St. Louis Catholic School is planning a viewing opportunity for our students in 3-8 grades. To afford your child the opportunity to go outside and participate in activities and view the solar eclipse, we will need a signed permission slip returned to the homeroom teacher by THIS Friday, April 5. Please look for a separate email from Mrs. Niedzwiedz with more information and the permission slip. As always, safety is our top priority, and we are taking all precautionary measures to make this experience both safe and enjoyable.
- The SLS Cheerleaders are once again selling Field Day T-shirts for JK-8th Graders! Students must wear a shirt in their class color on field day. Many teachers even suggest that the students wear these shirts on end of the year field trips. Each year we have almost 100% participation in this fundraiser for the cheerleaders.To order your child's shirt, visit: https://forms.gle/uGNp3SiD2UYS4dWw7 Deadline to order is Friday, April 5! T-shirts are $15.00 for single colored and $20.00 for tie dye (8th grade). All fees will be deducted from your FACTS account.

- You can now register for our St. Louis School Fun Run/Color Run sponsored by our Home and School Association! The kickoff is tomorrow, and the event is on April 12. Our goal is to raise $25,000 so we can install a security gate on Shady Grove Road. Registering is easy and free! Register Now On MYBOOSTER.COM. - Fame JR is just around the corner! Please make plans to come support our 5-8 grade drama club spring musical next Wednesday, April 10 at 6:00 PM and Thursday, April 11 at 6:00 PM in the gym. Our students have been working so hard on this year’s show. Let’s pack the house!
- All parents are encouraged to attend Intentional Parenting and The Worry -Free Parent at Christ Methodist Church on April 7. Sissy Goff and David Thomas have been sitting with children and families as Executive Directors and therapists at Daystar Counseling Ministries, Nashville, TN, for over three decades. Through their counseling, podcasts, books, and speaking, they've made it their life’s work to offer practical help and hope to families through their resources and experience.
