Our annual Kindergarten Chit-Chat is TOMORROW, Thursday, October 1 at 8:15 in the new gym for all prospective Kindergarten families.

Our annual Junior High Coffee Chat is Friday, October 16 at 8:15 AM in the St. John Paul II Youth Ministry Center for all current St. Louis sixth grade parents and prospective junior high families.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are on October 23. An email from Mrs. Troy with the SignUpGenius will be sent out after fall break and will close on Monday, October 19 at noon. If you are unable to schedule a conference because slots are full, please email your child's teacher to schedule a time.

St. Louis Men’s Club Golf Scramble Join us October 18 at The Links at Galloway for a great day of golf, fellowship, and fun! Lunch begins at 11:30 AM, followed by a 12:30 PM shotgun start. Registration is $125 per player/$500 per team. Spots are limited, so sign up soon!

Pig Day is Back! The St. Louis Men’s Club Pig Day returns Sunday, November 8, from 11:30 AM–6:00 PM in the SLS Dining Hall! Stop by for BBQ sandwiches, BBQ nachos, sausage & cheese plates, whole BBQ butts, and Pitmaster J. Whitley’s famous ribs. Preorder by November 1 for whole BBQ butts or ribs. Hot-off-the-smoker preorders will be available for pickup on Saturday, November 7, from 3:00–6:00 PM. Come hungry and support the St. Louis Men’s Club!

Harvest Knights Scholastic Chess Tournament Calling all chess players! St. Louis Catholic School will host the Harvest Knights Scholastic Chess Tournament on Saturday, October 3. The tournament is open to all students, with both unrated and USCF-rated sections. Registration is from 8:45–9:15 AM, with the first round beginning at 9:30 a.m. Register online by October 1 for $20 at com. Registration is $25 after October 1, and on-site registration will also be available.

Girls Lacrosse Fall Program All girls in grades 3–8 are invited to join Stars 901 Lacrosse Club for an introduction to the fastest-growing girls’ sport in the Mid-South! Stars 901 serves girls from Catholic schools throughout the Memphis area. Nearly 30 SLS girls participated in Stars 901 teams last season, and a majority of the club’s coaches are SLS parents. Fall sessions begin October 25 and will be held Sunday afternoons at SLS through Thanksgiving. Girls in 7th and 8th grade who are considering playing lacrosse in high school are especially encouraged to participate. SLS Cheer Clinic 2026 registration is open through this Friday! Our SLS Cheerleaders are hosting a cheer clinic for K-4^th grade girls on October 13 from 2:30-4:30 pm. All participants will spend the afternoon learning cheers, having fun, and getting ready to cheer on our Cardinals at the junior football game vs. St. Dominic October 15. Arrival & Dismissal ProceduresThe safety of our students, teachers, staff, and parents is always our highest priority. With busy morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times, it is especially important that everyone follows the established procedures consistently. Even a small shortcut can create an unsafe situation for a child, staff member, or another family.

Please take a few minutes to carefully read both the Arrival Procedures and Dismissal Pick-Up Options flyers included in this week’s Wednesday Wire. We also ask that you share this information with grandparents, babysitters, family members, or anyone else who may drop off or pick up your child.

These procedures are in place for a reason, and they work best when we all follow them. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and partnership in helping us keep everyone safe!
