Come Join the St. Louis School Choir

Who can join? Boys and girls in 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th grades

When is choir practice? Each Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Clunan Center Choir Room.

Mr. Burk or Mr. Mullins will meet you in the school hallway each Thursday, and we will walk to the Clunan Center Choir Room. Parents may pick you up at 4:00p.m. from the double door, Clunan Center entrance (the parking lot off of White Station Rd.).

What will we sing? A variety of music including contemporary church songs, Latin church music, traditional hymns and popular Christmas songs.

When will we sing? The choir will periodically sing for a Sunday liturgy, several All‐School Masses, & a few other church/ school ceremonies during the school year (For example, the annual Angel of Hope ceremony on December 6th.) Once or twice a year we may sing for a retirement home or charitable event.

What do we wear? School uniforms or church clothes. (No jeans or tennis shoes)

How do I join? Complete a permission slip & return it to Mr. Burk or Mr. Mullins

Do I have to audition? No, an audition is not necessary. Just come with a willingness to learn & have fun!

Who directs the choir? Mr. Albert Burk, Director of Music & Organist for St. Louis Church, directs most of the choirs at St. Louis School and Church. Mr. Ray Mullins, the St. Louis School music teacher.
